A round-table discussion on the subject "Suggested Ways of overcoming the Financial Crisis" was held under the chairmanship of Arseniy Yatseniuk, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. National investors, representatives of the largest Ukrainian banks, investors from the European Business Association and representatives of the United States Chamber of Commerce, members of the Economic Expert Council under the Head of the Parliament, People´s Deputies of Ukraine took part in the discussion.
Elaboration of a stabilizing program for Ukrainian economy under the conditions of the global financial crisis became the main subject of a round-table discussion. Thus, according to A.Yatseniuk, a relevant package of bills on economic stabilization is not available yet. The Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine called on the participants of the discussion for their assistance in elaboration of a package of economic bills that should secure economic stability of Ukraine.
The Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine commented on the situation in the Parliament and stated that a coordinated bill on antirecessionary measures failed to be adopted so far. However, he stated that "the Parliament will continue its work until a relevant package of economic legislation is adopted". "He have no other way out, for it´s not a political issue, it´s the matter of country´s vital activity".
Arseniy Yatseniuk also stated that a number of regulations that "bear no influence on economic stability" had been excluded from the governmental bill.
